How can we help?

Getting started

What is the difference between Kitaab and Kitaab Kids?

Kitaab is the adult learning and family-management app. Kitaab Kids is a separate, focused experience for a child profile created by a parent.

Does a child need an email address?

No. A parent creates the child profile and connects the child's device with a QR code or six-digit code.

Can adults learn with Kitaab?

Yes. The main Kitaab app includes Arabic lessons, reading, Tajweed, Qur'an listening and recitation practice.

Learning and access

Are Reading Practice and Duas locked?

No. Reading Practice is available from the start with one new sentence per day. All 40 Duas are open immediately.

Why are some lessons locked?

The guided curriculum follows a clear order so each lesson builds on the skills learnt before it. Completed lessons remain available for practice.

Can I start beyond the first Arabic lesson?

Yes. Adult learners can use placement to find a sensible starting point.

Qur'an and audio

Can each learner choose a different reciter?

Yes. Your choice is independent, and a parent can choose a separate reciter for every child.

Is recitation feedback always correct?

No speech system is infallible. Use the feedback for practice and consult a qualified teacher for precise correction.

Why does Kitaab use the microphone?

Only for features you choose that involve pronunciation, Dua or recitation practice.

Accounts and subscriptions

I did not receive the verification email. What should I do?

Check spam or junk, then open Settings in Kitaab and request another verification email.

How do I restore a subscription?

Open Kitaab Pro in Settings and choose Restore purchases using the Apple or Google account used for the original purchase.

How do I cancel?

Cancel through the subscription settings of the Apple or Google account used to purchase Kitaab.
